It's been a busy month with packing the inventory, transporting it to the house, cleaning out the store space, and uploading the rest of the stock to the website, not to mention several incredibly large projects at my day job. But, all of those tasks are finally completed, and while work is still busy, the rest of the shop inventory has been uploaded to the website, and I even figured out how to add a search bar and categories so that you can browse and shop for specific items.
Thank you, again, to those of you who took the time to come out or place a mail order in our final days on Hannon Road. I am extremely grateful for your support and for the four years that HW was Haborcreek's LYS.
If you are so inclined, please share our website with your yarn-loving friends, to the yarn craft groups you are members of, to threads and forums... anywhere you think there might be someone who is looking for some quality yarns, notions, patterns, or publications. While we did reduce our inventory by more than half in the last month the brick and mortar was open, we still have quite a bit remaining, and, to be frank, just because the physical store space is closed doesn't mean that the store still doesn't have bills to pay. If you browse through our online store, you'll see that we do still have a lot of great items left--some with enough yardage for large projects like afghans and sweaters, others with just enough for a smaller, one-skein project, and lots and lots of kits, needles, hooks, and notions.
The liquidation sale is structured so that the more items you place in your cart, the deeper your discount at checkout. So, let's say you have three skeins of indie dyed yarn in your cart and then add two less expensive notions or two skeins of Encore DK to your order, then you'll get an additional 5% off your total. And, if you spend more than $200, you get free shipping.
Have a wonderful Independence Day!
